8 Glasses of Water....WHY?





There are many articles about the goodness of drinking enough water, but still..many unaware of this miracle of H2O that God has given in its most natural way. This 8 glasses of water is referring to Plain Water and NOT Coke, teh ais / teh O ais, nescafe, Limau suam, etc etc etc.. if I had made my self clear...U may proceed to the Miracle of Water as follows:


1. Help to send Oxygen to your brain


Drinking enough water will aid in concentration and mental alertness. Our brain needs a lot of Oxygen and water to maximize its functions. 

Our brain tissue is made of around 80% of water, so U need to drink to make sure it functions properly. U also need water to send Oxygen to your brain, how it works? Well, Blood transport nutriens and oxygen to our brain, thus U need a vast amount of blood circulation, Blood is made mainly of water. Conclusion: Drink more, send more oxigen to brain, Stay focus in Class / work. :)


2. Help reduce Fat


Few main points on this:

  •  Kidney needs enough water to function properly, or else some of their loads is dumped to the Liver, and the Liver main function is to turn fat into energy. So, if Kidney can't do the its tasks completely, Liver have to finish it..thus Liver metabilozed Less fat.. Conclusion: More Fat stored in body.
  • During weight loss, the body has more waste to get rid of, and all that metabolized fat must be shed.
  • People are normally confused between thirst and hunger feeling. If there is slight dehydration which trigger thirst feeling, it can be mistaken for hunger. So U will tend binge when body is actually craving for fluid. Drinking enough water will help U tame your appetite coz it will also give the feeling of full in stomach. Tips: Drink 1 glass of water 10 minutes before U eat, U'll eat less :)

P/S: it is really funny to think of those who drink less water with hope that Weight Scale gonna drop. Of course its gonna drop coz  your body is made of 70% water. But does your FAT drop too?...


3. Maintain muscle tone


It allow proper muscle contraction and prevents dehydration. It also helps to prevent the sagging skin that usually follows weight loss.


Muscle tissue consists of 75% water, obviously U need water to build muscles. Water also aid digestion, thus in order to get your muscle building nutrition (Protein) to its destination quickly, Fluid it up!


Dehydration also stimulates catabolic (muscle destroying) hormones and increases the cortisol response to exercise.


4. Better skin complexion


Adequate water gives U fresh look skin, bright eyes, hydrated plump skin. It flushes out toxins thus aid in your detoxification process which results to anti-aging effect. Having this drinking habit will improve skin radiant while giving U the natural glow.. find it difficult to believe? ...try drinking 8-10 glasses of water for a week. See the difference :)


 5. Feeling Bloated?..Drink!


Bloatness is caused by water retention. Mostly coz salt/sodium intake which leads to water retention is cell tissues..means U have excessive fluids in cells, how to drain it out?.. believe it or not, U need to Drink in order to flush out those excessive water, exercise will also speed up the process. Water will also flush out those sodium intake u had, from Maggie mee, Can / processed foods, Pizza, hot dogs, all those lauk U bought in stalls..It all contains lots of sodium..Not good.


6. Makes U feeling fresh all day


Lack of water makes U feel sluggish and tired all day..U got to try drinking as suggest then U'll feel the difference I meant :)

Heit..Great info..but nk tambah skit..even though the water usage dalam badan sgt penting,nite time try to reduce to avoid water retention which will lead to weight gain!after 3 pm,try not to consume air manis sbb the sugar intake is not needed anymore...
